Meet Dr. Gaines

Dr. Gaines received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and her medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She then returned to Vanderbilt to complete her residency in pediatrics.

Dr. Gaines is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and also an active a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has a special interest in infectious diseases and travel medicine as well as in general pediatric medicine.

In her spare time, she is an active volunteer at Zoo Atlanta and other conservation groups. Dr. Gaines is retiring in December of 2026 and is no longer accepting new patients.
